FREE ECU REMAP TRAINING CLASS IN BINH DUONG ON 31/03/2025

On March 31, 2025, Autoshop Vietnam, in collaboration with Nam Dat Company and Tien Binh Duong Motorcycle Repair Center, successfully organized a free advanced training course on ECU Remapping.

The event attracted over 40 participants, including technicians and mechanics. The course was professionally designed with a strong focus on practical application, helping trainees understand correctly – do it right – and master the Remap technology using SmartFi2 and Remap PC tools.

PROFESSIONAL CONTENT – HIGH PRACTICAL APPLICATION

1. Overview of ECU Remapping:

• Definition, role, and benefits of ECU remapping in improving vehicle performance.
• Common situations that require intervention in the ECU control map.

2. Standard Technical Procedure:

• Step-by-step instructions for safe and accurate remapping.
• Hands-on work using specialized software: SMARTFi2 and REMAP PC.

3. Proper ECM Connection and Handling:

• How to safely connect devices to the ECU, ensuring electrical system safety.
• Common errors to avoid during ECU communication.
• Control map analysis and tuning: inspecting and adjusting parameters such as ignition timing, fuel injection ratio, RPM limit, etc.
• Using A/F (Air-Fuel) data to optimize the fuel mixture across different RPM ranges and engine loads.

4. Solving Real-world Performance Issues:

• Addressing throttle hesitation – a common issue in Honda models.
• Solutions for exhaust popping sounds, often found in SH Vietnam and SH Italy motorcycles.

Advanced Performance Tuning:

• Optimizing throttle response for quicker acceleration.
• Unlocking RPM limits, adjusting early activation of VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) and cooling fan to ensure stable performance under harsh conditions.

5. Customizing Error Codes and Special Modes:

• Activating/disabling unnecessary error codes.
• Customizing riding modes for a more personalized user experience.
