FREE UPDATE FOR DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION FOR VINFAST ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLES ON SMARTFI 2 DEVICE (02/12/2024)

Electric vehicles are vehicles that use electric motors for propulsion instead of internal combustion engines like gasoline or diesel-powered vehicles. Electric motors convert electrical energy into mechanical energy, and since they do not emit CO2 gases, they are considered eco-friendly and environmentally friendly transportation options. Electric vehicles have a history dating back to 1859, initially in a rather primitive and simple form, but laid an important foundation that helped shape the current electric vehicle market.

Electric motorcycles are a type of electric vehicle that has become increasingly popular today. The history of electric motorcycles is somewhat unclear. Records show that before 1911, many patent applications were filed for electric bicycles, but electric motorcycles were not yet mentioned at that time. After many years of development, electric motorcycles continue to grow strongly, continuing the history of electric vehicles worldwide for over 100 years. Vietnam has also entered the electric vehicle market with excellent and outstanding products under the brand name Vinfast.

On September 2, 2017, the VinFast electric car and motorcycle production complex began construction. VinFast’s vehicle manufacturing plant covers an area of 335 hectares with a total investment of 3.5 billion USD. In just over 2 years, from November 3, 2018, to January 21, 2021, VinFast launched 8 electric motorcycle models, including: Klara, VinFast Klara A1 (Lithium-ion Battery), VinFast Klara A2 (Lead-Acid Battery), VinFast Ludo, VinFast Impes, VinFast Klara S, VinFast Theon, and VinFast Feliz. Since then, VinFast has continued to develop and launch more electric motorcycle models with superior features to serve customers both domestically and internationally.

Along with the continuous development of the electric motorcycle market in Vietnam, on December 2, 2024, Autoshop Vietnam Co., Ltd. will introduce the electric motorcycle diagnostic function for VinFast motorcycles on the SmartFi 2 device, to better assist repair work for mechanics in addition to gasoline-powered vehicles.
