FREE ECU ZIN REMAPPING TRAINING COURSE IN THANH HOA ON 30/05/2025

On May 30, 2025, in Thanh Hoa City, Autoshop Vietnam, in collaboration with the Thanh Hoa Motorcycle Engineering Association, successfully organized a free training course on ECU Zin remapping.

The course not only provided in-depth knowledge and essential hands-on skills but also served as a platform for participants to network, share experiences, and comprehensively enhance their technical expertise.

DETAILED COURSE CONTENT

PART I: IN-DEPTH THEORY

• The session began with an enthusiastic and focused atmosphere as trainees explored and discussed the following key topics:
• Introduction to ECU remapping, scenarios where remapping is necessary, and the practical benefits it brings to motorcycles.
• Step-by-step remapping procedures to ensure technical accuracy, effectiveness, and absolute safety.
• Detailed instructions on how to operate and use SMARTFi2 and REMAP PC software for each type of motorcycle.
• Standard methods for connecting ECMs (Electronic Control Modules) to avoid damaging the electrical system.
• Operational map analysis, identifying abnormal parameters, and accurate fault diagnostics.
• Troubleshooting common throttle lag issues, especially on Honda models.
• Adjusting throttle response zones for better take-off and rapid acceleration.
• Fine-tuning fuel injection ratios and ignition timing—critical factors for optimizing performance and fuel efficiency.
• RPM limiter removal to unleash the engine’s full potential.
• Accurate fuel-air mixture calibration using A/F (Air-Fuel) ratios across different engine speeds.
• Guide to enabling/disabling error codes and adjusting certain special modes on the bike.
• Early activation of cooling fans and adjustment of VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) timing to optimize cooling efficiency.
• Fixing backfire issues from the exhaust pipe on popular models like SH Ý and SH Việt.

PART II: HANDS-ON PRACTICE

• Each participant had the opportunity to practice directly on their own motorcycle.
• Step-by-step guidance from ECM connection, data reading, and map analysis to proper remapping execution.
• One-on-one support from instructors to answer all questions and resolve real-time issues during the process.

Trainees were encouraged to test different setups and experience the noticeable improvement in their motorcycles’ performance after remapping.
