AUTOSHOP OFFIRCIALLY LAUNCHES SK TOOL 2.0

AutoShop proudly introduces the new SKTOOL 2.0, a simulation device for smart key systems and immobilizer locks. SKTOOL 2.0 supports repair and testing of the SCU (Smart Control Unit), input/output signals of the ECM, and facilitates diagnostics and remapping on a workbench.

This device is compatible with vehicles from HONDA, YAMAHA, PIAGGIO, VESPA, and SUZUKI.

Function List

• Test and repair smart key systems for HONDA, YAMAHA, and SUZUKI.
• Test and repair immobilizer security systems for PIAGGIO/VESPA (antenna required).
• Support for ECM (Engine Control Module) testing (feature to be upgraded in the future).
• Diagnostic device connectivity support for bench testing.

Detailed Functions

1. Smart Key System Testing and Repair

• Program replacement components such as FOBs and SCUs on simulation models.
• Check synchronization between FOB and SCU, SCU and ECM.
• Test operation of the FOB and SCU.
• Inspect input signals in the SCU: starter switch, side stand switch, wake-up switch, and ignition lock.
• Inspect output signals in the SCU: solenoid valve, turn signals, smart key indicator, and start signal.
• Measure and identify faults inside the SCU
• Support a wide range of smart key-equipped models from HONDA, YAMAHA, and SUZUKI.

2. Immobilizer Security System Testing and Repair for PIAGGIO/VESPA

• Manual key programming.
• Verify synchronization between the immobilizer key and ECM/ECU.
• Simulate the immobilizer system (requires manufacturer-specific antenna).

4. Diagnostic Device Connectivity on the Workbench

• Read/clear fault codes.
• Perform software flashing, remapping, and RPM limit removal.
• Disable smart key and immobilizer security systems.
• Read/renew IMMOID codes in the ECM.
